After seeing countless products being made from subpar materials that are harmful to our health and our planet, we knew it was time for a change. Being in a long-term committed relationship, we wanted to continue exploring and developing our sexuality together. Trying things we haven’t done before as a couple, a few toys naturally made their way into the bedroom. We purchased what we thought would lead us to a great time, some were good, and others were bad. We experienced materials that started to break down,
batteries and functions that didn’t perform as promoted and worse of all the smell of cheap plastics (gross, we know). So, we did what most people would do, we threw them away. For many out of sight is out of mind, but we couldn’t help but think if we were chucking out our toys, how many were doing the same?
How it All Started
We started Viola Green as an exploration of the sustainable
options already on the market and decided ‘if you want something done right, you should do it yourself’. We set out to create beautiful, sophisticated toys that are both incredibly pleasurable but also made from materials that are sustainable and body-safe. That way, when you’re enjoy those intimate moments, you're not only treating yourself but also showing some love to Mother Nature.
As a couple, we believe that Self-Love Shouldn’t be Selfish. We wanted to offer something better - products that were not only pleasurable, but also made with the planet in mind. A vision started to form of a business that would support a community of people exploring their own sexualities and intimate relationships while also helping to build a world where environmental restoration and protection could be a priority.
So, after many conversations about the toys that end up in landfills, we decided it was time to take action. Now that there are new innovations in sustainable and biodegradable plastics, we wanted to shift the industry in a more sustainable direction.
Viola Green was born from the idea that self-love

Our reason for being
Self-love shouldn’t be selfish is something we stand by. Our aim is to design and create products that prioritise quality and performance while championing sustainable at their core. That way when you’re feeling good, you know mother nature is feeling good to.
From the drawing board, all the way to production, sustainability has been our guiding principle. We want Viola Green to be synonymous with the Sustainable Sexuality movement.

We recognise the importance of sexual expression as a fundamental aspect of our identity. We believe that everyone has the right to feel comfortable and confident in their own sexuality, so we strive to provide comprehensive education and resources to support individuals in leading happier, sexier, and more fulfilled lives.
